Continuing the theme of a lack of understanding of height, allegedly, Charlie is 8'10 here. A height so astounding that no one on Earth has reached it as far as we know. I remember the day I made this, I was sick at home on the couch with the Flu. Ironically, as I type this, I have the flu. I believe it was even around the same time of year (November.)  Shockingly, Charlie's design has stayed relatively the same over the past 10 years, Even in this first drawing (which I will later explain It's not technically the first) Is pretty obviously Charlie. I can't say the same for his personality, as that's severely different now. Although some details fazed out over time. I recall the weird side-parted hair, I didn't want Charlie to be associated with the typical anime boy look, of hair that parts with a forelock in the middle of the face. And I gave him blue eyes, which is an interesting look with the brown hair, but they slowly became green over time for one reason or another. He also is wearing a red bowtie, which is something almost every character I had at the time wore, besides Scott, who was not necessarily a part of Charlie's circle of friends. There is also the constantly bleeding bandaged arm,  which I don't think was ever attributed to a real injury. I ended up intentionally giving in to the anime boy stereotype because I do like the style and mover, It shows that you dont have to be ugly on the outside to be ugly on the inside. There are evil people all around us, especially in our closest circles. The people we give all our trust and respect towards. 

Now this is more like it. Water damaged, wrinkled, smushed. And ugly as ugly gets. This is the first drawing I ever made of Charlie, directly before I made the one featured above. I didn't like the drawing, and I don't question why. The Tetris shirt was an interesting idea. I don't think Charlie would play much Tetris. But, originally, he was supposed to be something of a video game nerd. His hair is also more red in this drawing, but I'm not sure if this is an issue to do with the age of the drawing, or If it was an intentional choice. I also don't understand the purple eyes. I sort of get why this drawing was scrapped.
