"Magy" is an ethereal being, one that cannot be assigned to the properties of space, time, or gender. It is instead an evil, unstoppable force. One so hellish and dangerous that it has been confined to a realm in which it can't control. Forever trapped inside the lowest level of the Grandview Mall, "Magy" cannot escape unless John or Will give themselves willingly to it. Magy can take many forms. It can disguise itself as your greatest desire or your worst fear. It preys on the vulnerability of humans and will do anything it can to tempt its victims and release its evil on as many unwilling beings as possible. It often chooses to present itself in a female form to convey trust and lure in John and Will but can take the forms of anything it learns about, including friends, family, and girlfriends, in an attempt to deceive and entice. It was given the name "Magy" by John in reference to an old classmate who was something of a bully to him, and the name has stuck since then.
